The country is divided into two parts linguistically, the English and French-Canadians. I've heard it said (by American and Canadian), that the people speak both languages but pretend not to understand each other because the division is so strong. The language, French-Canadian, is a descendant of Olde French, so it has evolved into its own unique sound and with it culture.

The falls are one of the great sight-seeing opportunities in the world. It is a huge horseshoe shaped waterfall connecting Canada and the US. Many have crossed it in stunts, and many have fallen over in barrels. Not many have survived the fall. Be careful when you visit, as it is dangerous to lean over... Accidents tend to happen over tall heights.
